Before

This is a genealogy site that was hosted on RootsWeb. The gray background does not make for an attractive site.

American Family Short Sale

Feb 03, 2011Repair

I was asked to repair a web form that was non-functioning on the owner’s site.  The form was connected to a lead-generation service crucial to the client’s real estate business.

After the form was fixed, it was necessary to create input validation to make sure users were entering all required information, and that the data was formatted correctly as, for example, the email address and phone number.  This was accomplished by generating JavaScript code using Dreamweaver.

I also repaired another form page using the same technique, created a results page for this form, created a new page Template, and cleaned up non-validating code in the WordPress php Templates.

Home Page of American Family Short Sale

Form tabbed through without data entered.

Input boxes w/name fields filled in, but incorrect formats for others.

All entries filled in and validated. Now Submit button is clicable.

Original social networking icons painted by the client's artist friend. Each button is an active link.

This a special graphic created by the artist I placed in the sidebar template.

Chad Waterbury

Jan 25, 2011Repair, WordPress

Site owner is national fitness guru who needed to increase his email campaign and convert his popular blog to a full-featured website. Site was set up in WordPress using premium theme.

Original site: Chad Waterbury

First revision, color scheme lightened and switched to one sidebar

He switched from Constant Contact to GetResponse which required a new form for the header.  I did some redesign to the site, then developed a new banner.

Proposal #1 new banner

Proposal #2 revised banner design

Proposal #3 - 2nd Revision New Banner

This is Chad's final banner. Great work by another graphic designer!
