This is a new site using a slightly modified WordPress theme. The client is a small business located in Greensboro, NC and desired a calling-card type of site. I developed the content and wrote the copy as well as laying out the site and enhancing its graphics.

The client was referred by another fitness expert. His wish was to monetize his already popular blog by increasing his subscriber list to provide expanded goods and services to his customers.

The first step was to get him a proprietary domain and transfer from wordpress.com to his own hosting. He implemented a third-party email listing tool to enable him to send a weekly newsletter, to develop “campaign” rosters, and to offer a free gift as an enticement to new subscribers. I created header graphics to attract attention to this new enrollment plan and generally increased the visual impact of the site as well as its functionality.

Current Site

Client is a non-profit genealogy group. I volunteered to help out with their existing website.  This led to a total redesign for which I developed a new logo, header and other graphics.  Later, they added a blog which I created in WordPress.  After about a year, I decided to integrate the site and the blog and moved them into WordPress so their members could add content and perform their own updates.

This is the original home page for the JGSLA website. It was created with Front Page back in the day, and there were hundreds of pages!

This is the first re-design which was made from scratch in Dreamweaver.

This is the original WordPress 3-column theme before I completey revamped it.

This is the current site. I have brought the main site and its blog together in WordPress, customized it and made it work as a true CMS. Notice the sidebars are put to full use.
